CRS is a service-oriented roofing and cladding contractor based in the North West but with a national reach. We have many years’ experience in the delivery of quality projects of all sizes for public and private sector clients.

Our team is truly multi-discipline. We have in-house designers to ensure architects’ detail will work appropriately with specific manufacturer systems and we have fully qualified operatives and management with expert skill levels in each roofing and cladding area.

We have the capability to install the most complex roofing and cladding systems and prolong their life through planned maintenance packages. Our quality commitment is backed up by all the major SSIP accreditations, including Constructionline Gold, and all our Managers are either Associates, Members or Fellows of the Institute of Roofing.

We’re committed to training and the development of skills, hence all our operatives have relevant tickets which are under regular review. All our Supervisors have SSSTS and/or SMSTS depending on their role.

A passion for excellence and safety is why local councils, government departments, private developers, and commercial and industrial building owners come to us. We have worked with CRS for many years. The service, quality, aftercare and reporting service provided constantly exceed expectation. Most recently we worked with CRS at one of our Northern sites. The works comprised of a full overclad of the existing roof plus the installation of additional translucent sheets to allow for greater light penetration into the workshop area. The installation had to be completed within standard working hours in a busy industrial site which demanded next to no interruptions to their day to day operations and the works were valued at c£120,000.00. Despite the demanding site, CRS completed the work without fuss and with the degree of courtesy and professionalism we have to come to expect as standard.

We ensure our operatives are trained appropriately throughout their career with us so that they stay safe, and fully conversant with the latest British Standards and relevant Manufacturer installation instructions. We have a regular engagement with our local Construction Industry Training Board representatives and North West Independent Roof Training Group to ensure that we maximise training grants and keep abreast of legislation.

Ensuring safety

We take the safety of you and our workforce very seriously. Our operatives, who are trained in all aspects of health and safety, are given regular Toolbox Talks, and supported by our Safety Officer who regularly visits sites to carry out safety audits. We can also take on full CDM responsibilities so that you don’t have to.
